Annual Music Event in Paderborn: Rock Festival Gathers Thousands of Attendees Yearly
Renowned singer-songwriter Rosalie Cunningham and the iconic Rockpommel's Band are set to take the stage in Paderborn, Germany, for an unforgettable concert experience. The event, organised by PROROCK e.V. Paderborn, is scheduled for an exciting evening of music, with Rosalie Cunningham performing from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, followed by the Hamburg Blues Band feat. Inga Rumpf from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
The main event, however, will be the performance of Rockpommel's Band, starting from 10:00 PM onwards. This band, consisting of former members of the legendary German progressive rock band Grobschnitt, have been touring Germany for years, reviving the original rock versions of Grobschnitt's classic pieces. Their focus is particularly on material from the iconic concept album, *Rockpommel's Land* (1977), which has been well-regarded in the progressive rock scene.
Grobschnitt, active mainly in the 1970s and 1980s, became known for their spacey and theatrical rock performances. Their album *Rockpommel's Land* tells a fantastical story accompanied by elaborate music, which has been preserved in performances by Rockpommel's Band to maintain the authentic rock arrangements originally recorded by Grobschnitt.
Rosalie Cunningham, who was voted "Singer of the Year" by Prog Magazine readers in 2023, embarked on a 17-date tour through Scandinavia and Europe in 2024, and is now scheduled for an extensive tour across France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and more. Her 2019 debut album received rave reviews from Classic Rock and Metal Hammer magazines, and her third studio album was released in autumn 2024.
The lineup for Rosalie Cunningham's band includes Toni Moff Mollo on vocals, Milla Kapolke on bass, Admiral Top Sahne Möller on drums, Manu Kapolke on guitar, Deva Tattva on keyboard, and Demian Hache from the last Grobschnitt lineup.
