The excitement begins earlier in the day with the Hertha BSC women's team playing a test match against Borussia Dortmund's women's team at 11:00 AM. Following the women's match, the professional team will be officially presented at 1:00 PM. The traditional Hertha Cup, organised by the official fan clubs for the 27th time, will take place later in the afternoon.
The day's events will culminate in an awards ceremony for the Hertha Cup at 5:00 PM, and the festivities will conclude at 6:00 PM. The event will be opened by Fabian Drescher, Benjamin Weber, Fabian von Wachsmann, and Udo Knierim at 10:45 AM.
Meanwhile, the 2. Bundesliga season opener for the men's team will take place away from home on August 1, 2025, against FC Schalke 04 at the VELTINS-Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
