Announced games for Xbox and PC during the 2025 Xbox Games Showcase and Summer Game Fest unveiled.
Get ready for a thrilling gaming summer! The festivities kicked off with the Summer Game Fest 2025, taking place on Jun. 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET. This event showcased a ton of games from Microsoft, Bethesda Softworks, Activision Blizzard, and third-party partners alike. If you missed it, don't worry – you can watch the replay on YouTube.
Following Summer Game Fest, we got our own Xbox Games Showcase on Jun. 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET. This show was entirely focused on Xbox Series X|S and PC, and there were plenty of games slated for Game Pass, too. Here's a sneak peek at some of the awesome announcements made during the event:
- The Outer Worlds 2 – These intergalactic misfits are back with an explosive sequel that's headed to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC and Steam, PlayStation 5, and Game Pass on Oct. 29, 2025.
- High on Life 2 – Put on your space boots and get ready for more hilarity as this comedic shooter returns this winter on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, and Game Pass.
- Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy – Step back into the morbid, rat-infested universe of A Plague Tale for an exciting spin-off, coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, and Game Pass sometime in 2026.
- Blood of Dawnwalker – From Capcom, this vampire-centric action adventure game promises to keep you on the edge of your seat, making its way to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox PC in 2026.
- Super Meat Boy 3D – The beloved Meat Boy is back for another beloved platforming adventure, this time with an added dimension, arriving on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox PC in early 2026.
- NINJA GAIDEN 4 – Fans of the legendary ninja action series can rejoice – NINJA GAIDEN 4 is a day one addition to Xbox Game Pass, coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, and Steam, PlayStation 5, and Game Pass on Oct. 21, 2025.
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants – Fans of the iconic action-adventure series can embark on another adventure with this DLC expansion, arriving on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, and Steam, as well as PlayStation 5 on Sept. 4, 2025.
- Aphelion – Another title from DON'T NOD is taking on the sci-fi genre, looking nothing short of stunning. Aphelion is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, and Game Pass in 2026.
- Beast of Reincarnation – From the creators at Game Freak, this action-adventure game features some seriously wild art design. Beast of Reincarnation is heading to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, and Game Pass in 2026.
- Clockwork Revolution – Strap on your revolver and get ready for an insane first-person shooter, inspired by iconic universes like Bioshock. Look out for Clockwork Revolution on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, and Game Pass… at some point.
- Grounded 2 – Not even a year has passed since the original Grounded made its debut, and we're already getting a sequel to this epic survival game. Grounded 2 lands on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, and Game Pass in Game Preview on Jul. 29, 2025.
