Ingredients:

- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup chocolate wafers (150g)
For the Chocolate Glaze:
- 1 cup dark chocolate (250g)
- 2 tsp warm milk

Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and melted butter until a paste forms.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until there are no more lumps.
- Add the flour and baking powder, stirring until well combined.
- Crush the chocolate wafers and fold them into the dough, refrigerating for 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the dough onto a floured surface, cut out animal shapes, and place on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2.5cm between each cookie and around the edges.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the edges start to brown.
- Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack before decorating with chocolate glaze.
Chocolate Glaze:
- Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each interval, until smooth.
- Stir in the warm milk.
- Transfer the glaze to a piping bag.
