"The guy began acting aggressively and threw a punch at me. My reflexes kicked in – I swung back with a cross and landed the hit," she recounted.
Angelina further elaborated on this incident by revealing that she had incapacitated the offender's tooth during the altercation.
"I managed to stop the guy with a single punch. His obnoxious behavior," she added.
Unfortunately, after this incident, Angelina found herself in the spotlight for being perceived as aggressive.
"But why do women face such treatment, why is there no conversation about the man who dared to act aggressively towards a woman? I believe a woman should stand up for herself," she underscored.
While she acknowledged that professional athletes should only employ their skills in justified situations involving risk, the boxer added that she had warned the man prior to the incident.
"Especially since I warned him," she asserted.
In the end, the situation was resolved amicably, with the man offering an apology.
It's important to note that Angelina clinched the world champion title according to the IBO organization last October.
