In the world of Hollywood, news abounds. From personal life updates to upcoming projects, the spotlight never dims. This week, we're focusing on Angelina Jolie, who is set to return to the action thriller genre with her new film, The Initiative.

The plot revolves around Jolie's character, a rogue master spy named Bright. Operating outside conventional rules, Bright is on a mission to stop dangerous enemies. Joining her team is a new agent named Charlie, who finds himself in concerning situations as he questions whether Bright intends to kill him or is simply doing whatever it takes to protect the free world.

Directed by Doug Liman, known for his work with Jolie in Mr. & Mrs. Smith back in 2005, and scripted by F. Scott Frazier, The Initiative is described as a "Training Day set in the world of spycraft".

On the personal front, Jolie is reportedly planning to sell her historic Los Angeles home and move abroad with her children once her youngest, the twins Knox and Vivienne, turn 18 next year. Jolie has expressed her desire to leave Los Angeles for some time, citing a need for privacy, peace, and a new chapter abroad.

Jolie's Los Angeles home, purchased in 2017 for $24.5 million, boasts six bedrooms, ten bathrooms, stunning architecture, world-class gardens, an on-site library, and a swimming pool. The rich Hollywood history of the home began in 1916 when it was purchased by Cecil B. DeMille for less than $28,000. DeMille expanded the estate by buying the neighboring home, which had been owned by screen legend Charlie Chaplin, and merging the two properties.

Jolie shares six children with her ex-husband Brad Pitt: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne. Recently, it has been reported that Jolie is having a tough time with daughter Shiloh's next chapter, as Shiloh has flown the nest with her rumored love interest, dancer Keoni Rose.

In other news, Pitt's home was broken into while he was in Tokyo, and there have been suggestions that security at the mansion may have been compromised in the days leading up to the break-in.

Jolie's next career move is a welcome return to the action thriller genre, which made her a mega movie star. The Hollywood Reporter announced the upcoming film, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release. As for Jolie's future home, only time will tell where she and her family will settle down next.
