Angelina Jolie to Sell Los Angeles Home, Move Abroad After Children Turn 18
Actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie is reportedly planning to sell her Los Angeles home and move abroad once her youngest children, twins Knox and Vivienne, turn 18 next year. This decision comes following the conclusion of her divorce from Brad Pitt in December 2024.
Jolie has been residing in Los Angeles primarily due to the custody arrangement with her ex-husband. She notes that she never wanted to live in LA full-time but was obligated to do so until their youngest children reach the age of 18.
The Los Angeles property, valued at approximately $24.5 million, is expected to be put up for sale as part of her plans to relocate. The estate, purchased in 2017, features grand fountains, an outdoor pool, and has been extensively renovated since its original construction in 1913.
The house, previously owned by Cecil B. DeMille, is located in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. The estate spans over 1,000 square meters and boasts six bedrooms and ten bathrooms.
Jolie is considering several locations abroad for her new home. She has previously mentioned a desire to spend more time in Cambodia, where she already owns a traditional home, which she purchased after adopting her eldest son, Maddox, in 2002.
Once she relocates, Jolie aims to focus on her personal life and family, seeking more privacy and a new beginning for her and her six children. She also plans to visit her family members "wherever they may be in the world."
Jolie and Pitt were married in 2014. Their separation occurred in the fall of 2016.
