Team member Sophie Cunningham to Caitlin Clark is accused, jokingly, by Angel Reese, of causing a sex toy incident, with Reese claiming that the atmosphere around her teammate has become 'strange' and 'unusual'.

In an unusual turn of events, a sex toy was thrown onto the court during the WNBA game between the Golden State Valkyries and the Chicago Sky on August 2. The League confirmed the incident and stated that throwing objects onto the court is strictly prohibited.

The object, a neon green dildo, disrupted the game during the third quarter, causing a brief interruption. It's unclear whether anyone was ejected from the game for the incident.

The incident sparked a playful banter between the teams' players, Angel Reese and Sydney Colson. Reese, who is on a rookie contract and cannot afford to give away a significant portion of her winnings, jokingly placed blame on Colson for the fiasco. Colson, in response, shared a photo of herself wearing a green jacket and asked Reese for some of her bonus money she received after being part of the championship-winning Unrivaled league team, which earned her a $50,000 bonus.

Reese, however, was not amused by the entire situation and pleaded with the culprits to stop throwing objects on the court. Colson, in her humorous way, replied to Reese's plea by saying that she would need the money to buy a new jacket if Reese refused to share.

Despite the unusual distraction, the game resumed, and the teams continued their competitive matchup. The WNBA is yet to announce any further action regarding the incident.
