André Trepoll retains leadership position within CDU in Süderelbe following re-election
In a recent secret ballot, André Trepoll, the long-standing leader of the local association CDU Süderelbe, has been re-elected as its chairman, along with three re-elected deputies.
Trepoll, a member of the state parliament and lawyer, faced no opposition in his bid for re-election. He has been leading the CDU Süderelbe since 2004, and under his leadership, the association has grown to approximately 150 members.
Joining Trepoll in the executive board are three re-elected deputies: Katharina Schuwalski, a lawyer; Robert Timmann, a banker and vice-president of the Harburg district assembly; and Lars Frommann, a district councilor and engineer. Each of these individuals holds a significant position in their respective fields, bringing diverse professional backgrounds to their roles in the CDU Süderelbe.
Schuwalski was re-elected as a deputy for Trepoll, while Frommann and Timmann were re-elected in their respective positions as well. The re-election of Trepoll and his deputies occurred without any opposing votes, further solidifying their positions within the local association.
The CDU Süderelbe's executive board now consists of four members, including Trepoll and the three re-elected deputies. This new composition of the board offers a balanced representation of professions, with a lawyer, a district councilor, an engineer, a banker, and a vice-president of a district assembly.
While the identity of the new deputy chairperson of the CDU-Unterbezirk Süderelbe remains unclear, the re-elected deputies, like Trepoll, are set to continue their work in the CDU Süderelbe, aiming to further strengthen the local association and represent the interests of its members.
