Anaheim Ducks Launch Winter Reading Challenge for Young Book Lovers
The Anaheim Ducks have joined forces with Orange County Public Libraries (OCPL) to initiate Wild Wing’s Winter Reading Challenge. This six-week program aims to spark children aged 14 and under to explore reading. With exclusive prizes and engaging activities, the initiative commenced at Rancho Santa Margarita Library and will proceed at Tustin Library on December 9th.
The challenge began with a special event at Rancho Santa Margarita Library. Children delighted in a reading, Q&A, and book signing with New York Times bestselling author Ben Clanton. The program will next visit Tustin Library, where illustrator and former hockey player Dom Granato will lead a reading, book signing, and drawing workshop.
The Winter Reading Challenge spans six weeks, motivating young readers with rewards and interactive events. Participating libraries will host special readings, crafts, and signings to keep children engaged. The next event takes place at Tustin Library, located at 345 E Main St, Tustin, Calif. 92780, on December 9th.
