Amir H. H. expresses admiration towards Saudi leaders, plans for further progress and development
In a significant development, Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud and his delegation recently visited Kuwait. The visit was marked by a series of high-level meetings aimed at consolidating close cooperation and expanding partnership prospects between the two Gulf nations.
The official meeting was held with Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef. The discussions reflected the depth of historical ties between the countries and contributed to joint Gulf efforts to confront challenges and strengthen security and stability in the region.
Prior to Prince Abdulaziz's visit, His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, had conveyed warm greetings to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia. Similarly, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Saudi leadership to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait.
During the meeting, the two sides reaffirmed the strength of their fraternal ties and shared commitment to advancing security integration and intensifying coordination on various issues. The discussions addressed mutual interests, discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various security fields, and explored mechanisms for coordinating joint efforts to address regional and international challenges.
In the presence of Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, Prince Abdulaziz received a briefing from the Criminal Security Sector of Kuwait about its work mechanisms and viewed a special exhibition prepared for the visit. He also wished good health for the Kuwaiti people and further advancement and prosperity for the country.
His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, in turn, wished good health and continued well-being for the leaders of Saudi Arabia and prayed for the Kingdom's progress and prosperity.
The meetings and discussions between the Saudi and Kuwaiti officials fall within the framework of the leaderships' keenness to consolidate close cooperation and expand partnership prospects. The events were reported by Al Jarida newspaper.
