Highfield Festival Returns with Exciting Lineup and New Attractions
After a brief hiatus, the Highfield Festival is set to make a triumphant return this year, promising a weekend of music, fun, and sun. The three-day event, scheduled for Lake Stormthal from Friday to Sunday, is expected to attract approximately 28,000 guests.
The organisers, Scorpio, have announced an enticing lineup for this year's event. Top acts include Deichkind, K.I.Z, Clueso, Electric Callboy, and Nina Chuba, ensuring a diverse and energetic atmosphere for all festival-goers.
In addition to the music, the Highfield Festival offers a unique beach experience. Visitors can enjoy swimming, yoga, or aqua fitness, all while taking in the sounds of their favourite artists on the beach stage. For those seeking a more comfortable stay, pre-erected tents or accommodations in a resort can be booked.
A highlight of the festival is the return of the Ferris wheel. Despite a tragic fire in 2024 that resulted in injuries to 16 people and the burning of two gondolas, investigations for negligent bodily harm and negligent arson are ongoing. However, Scorpio spokesperson Jonas Rohde has stated that they have analysed last year's incident with relevant safety authorities to ensure the safety of all attendees.
Weather forecasts predict sunny skies with temperatures reaching up to 34 degrees Celsius for all three festival days. The German Weather Service is responsible for these predictions.
