Memorial Event Scheduled for Friday at American Legion Hall in Ottawa

A solemn public ceremony and memorial will take place at the American Legion Hall in Ottawa on Friday at noon. The event, open to everyone in the community, is being hosted by the American Legion to commemorate National POW/MIA Recognition Day.

The American Legion Hall, located at 901 La Salle Street in Ottawa, will serve as the venue for the memorial event. This historic building has been a focal point for community gatherings and events for many years.

On Saturday, the American Legion will also host a remembrance event at the same location, coinciding with National POW/MIA Recognition Day. The organisation, a dedicated supporter of veterans and their families, has chosen to honour those who have served our country and are still unaccounted for.

The memorial event on Friday promises to be a moving tribute, with the community coming together to pay their respects. The event is open to all, providing an opportunity for everyone to show their appreciation for the sacrifices made by our service members.

Mark your calendars for Friday at noon, and join the American Legion in remembering and honouring our missing service members. The American Legion Hall in Ottawa will once again become a beacon of community spirit and unity, as we come together to pay our respects.
