- Amended Decision in the Counterfeit Rocker Affair

The German Federal Court of Justice (BGH), in a bold display of no-nonsense, has flatly refused the appeals of a devious con artist, who was slapped with a three-year prison sentence by the Regional Court of Kiel. However, a minor tweak was made to the original verdict delivered in August: the charge of fraud has been turned into one for extortion. But worry not, this change won't loosen the noose around the crook's neck a notch.

The good folks at the Regional Court found overwhelming evidence that the 44-year-old scoundrel had been pretending to be a member of a biker gang, terrorizing a friendly couple, and extorting a whopping 69,000 euros from them. Over the course of 2016 to 2018, this lowlife sent four menacing messages with extortion demands and veiled threats to the hapless duo via the WhatsApp messaging service, signing off as "Cadir Oez".

  2. The biker gang imposter, after being found guilty of extorting 69,000 euros from a couple through four WhatsApp messages and threats, will serve his prison time as a result of the Regional Court of Kiel's ruling.
  3. In an attempt to reverse the Regional Court of Kiel's decision, the convict appealed to the German Federal Court of Justice (BGH) for leniency, but the court held fast to the original verdict, emphasizing the severity of his actions.
