Amazon's Upcoming Fallout TV Series Showcases Armor, Post-Apocalyptic Landscape, and Walton-Branded Ghostly Cocktails

Get ready for an exciting journey into the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout, as the highly anticipated television series makes its global premiere on Prime Video on April 12, 2024.

Based on Bethesda's popular post-apocalyptic video game, Fallout brings to life a world where luxury fallout shelter dwellers return to the irradiated wasteland and discover a complex, violent, and weird universe.

The series stars Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean, an optimistic dweller from Vault 33, an underground facility built as a social experiment by VaultTec. Lucy's all-American can-do spirit and peaceful, idealistic nature are put to the test when people harm her loved ones.

Lucy is joined by Maximus, played by Aaron Moten, a young soldier who hides his tragic past while serving in the Brotherhood of Steel. Together, they navigate this dangerous world, along with other central figures like Hank MacLean (played by Kyle MacLachlan), the Overseer of Vault 33 and Lucy's father, who is eager to change the world for the better.

Walton Goggins plays "The Ghoul," a former Hollywood actor turned mutated ghoul and gunslinger bounty hunter. His character, Cooper Howard, has a mysterious past and serves as a formidable foe and ally throughout the series.

The series also features a diverse cast, including Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O'Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones.

Jonathan Nolan directs the first three episodes of the series, and Lisa Joy, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, co-showrunners, and writers. The show aligns closely with elements from the Fallout games' post-apocalyptic world, combining characters from vaults and major factions within the universe.

The images teased for Fallout showcase a complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe, with fresh images that depict jumpsuits, power suits, and at least one character with a missing nose. Don't miss the global premiere of Fallout on Prime Video on April 12, 2024.
