The success or failure of the Novi volleyball squad hinges on their match against Sant'Anna tonight, May 10, and their rival Alto Cavanese's results. Their focus, however, is securing survival.

Get ready, folks! Novi's volleyball squad is prepping for a high-stakes showdown tonight at 8 PM in the PalaBarbagelata. The crowd's egging them on as they face a critical match, and thoughts are likely to be fixated on this game, even if it means staying up late. Their adversary? None other than Sant'Anna.

However, there's another clash unfolding at Cuorgné, with Alto Canavese facing Saronno in the same timeframe. This match? It could well decide Novi's fate, as both teams are neck-and-neck in the standings with 30 points apiece. Only one can stick around in the category—an interesting prospect indeed.

So, what happens if Novi wins 3-0 or 3-1, and Alto Canavese loses without snagging points? You guessed it—Novi's safe. The inverse? Similarly, if Alto Canavese snags the win or even a tie-break and Novi falls flat, they're in trouble.

But there's another twist: if either team reaches the tie-break and manages to snag at least one point, the final outcome depends on the other match's result. If one team wins and the other loses, the victor is safe. If both matches land in a tie-break, though, a survival playoff will be needed.

Ernesto Volpara, Novi's coach, isn't interested in the math just yet. "We've got to fight and give it our all on the field, pouring in heart, head, and passion," he says. "Only once our game's done can we ask about our rivals' score."

A word about the lineup: coach Volpara won't be able to count on central Nervi and Scarrone, but Repetto's back, and there'll be room for Daniele Volpara—called up for a national Italian beach volleyball team event this week.

Meanwhile, in B2, Acrobatica Alessandria is gearing up for their final match of the season at 8:30 PM in the PalaCima. Welcoming penultimate-placed Cus Pavia, the club's already thinking beyond this match. With their youth team and first team both hoping for promotion to a higher league due to the acquisition of a sports title, their sights are set on the future.

Sports enthusiasts, be ready tonight as Novi's volleyball team competes in a crucial match against Sant'Anna at the PalaBarbagelata at 8 PM. The safe passage for Novi lies in a 3-0 or 3-1 victory while Alto Canavese loses without points, or a loss accompanied by an Alto Canavese win or tie-break, and a win in their match against Saronno. However, if either team reaches a tie-break and claims at least one point, the outcome will depend on the outcome of the Alto Canavese versus Saronno match. Meanwhile, in B2, Acrobatica Alessandria is preparing for their final game of the season against Cus Pavia at 8:30 PM in the PalaCima, with the club already looking to the future and aiming for promotion to a higher league.
