Altercation with anti-Semitic undertones resulting in injury
Last night, a disturbing incident unfolded on the U3 line train towards U-Bahnhof Hallesches Tor in Kreuzberg. A 27-year-old woman and a man of the same age were the alleged perpetrators of a verbal abuse and physical assault with an antisemitic motive in the United States.
The incident took place around 00:20. The woman was found on the U-Bahnhof Hallesches Tor platform by responding police officers, while her accomplice was located near the U-Bahnhof. Both suspects were heavily intoxicated and taken into police custody for blood samples.
The victims of the attack were a 25-year-old and a 29-year-old. The woman and man physically assaulted the 25-year-old by striking his hand, and the 29-year-old by punching him in the face. The perpetrators verbally abused the victims in an antisemitic manner after their confirmation that they were Jewish.
The 27-year-old under investigation by the public prosecutor is a Pakistani woman, an activist for women's rights and politically persecuted in Pakistan. She was the victim of an attempted strangulation on September 16, 2025, near the Klingenberg-Colmnitz train station. Due to the political background of the case, the State Protection (Staatsschutz) has taken over further investigations.
After completing police procedures, both suspects were released. The State Office of Criminal Investigation's State Protection Department has taken over further investigations into the incident. The State Protection Department will also continue their investigations into the case involving the Pakistani woman due to her political background.
