Junior Football Matches Announced for September in the Lower Rhine Region

Football fans in the Lower Rhine region are eagerly awaiting the upcoming matches in the junior leagues. The new season is set to bring exciting games as teams battle it out for supremacy.

One of the most anticipated matches is the encounter between Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and VfB's C juniors on September 20th, 3 pm. The Moers football district, represented by VfB Homberg and SV Budberg, will also see several thrilling contests.

VfB Homberg's A juniors aim to play a good role in the Niederrheinliga, with the possibility of promotion to the DFB youth league in winter. Their first match is against TSV Meerbusch on September 7th, 11 am. The subsequent first match dates for VfB Homberg's A juniors are: September 14th, 11 am against 1. FC Bocholt; September 17th, 7 pm against KFC Uerdingen; and September 21st, 11 am against SC St. Tönis.

Meanwhile, SV Budberg's junior teams are making a strong impression. The B juniors will face Lohausener SV on September 7th, 11 am, and SV Budberg's C juniors will play against DJK TuSA 06 Düsseldorf on September 20th, 2:45 pm. Notably, SV Budberg shines among the football girls, being represented in the B-Juniorinnen-Niederrheinliga and the C-Juniorinnen performance class.

The first round dates for the 14-team A and B junior leagues have been announced, but return round dates will only be created in December due to the winter promotion possibility. The other three junior leagues are scheduled to run until May 30th and 31st, 2025.

The complete match plans can be found on fvn.de, the website of the Football Association Lower Rhine. However, details about the promotion rules for A- and B-junior teams in the DFB youth league for the 2024-2025 season in the Lower Rhine region could not be found in the given search results.

For precise promotion rules, it is recommended to consult the Lower Rhine Football Association (Fußballverband Niederrhein - FVN) official regulations for youth leagues 2024/25 or the official DFB youth competition handbook or announcements for the 2024–25 season.

In the meantime, football enthusiasts can look forward to the upcoming matches, including Olympia Bocholt vs SV Budberg's C juniors on September 13th, 2:45 pm, and VfR Schwarz-Weiß Warbeyen vs SV Budberg's B juniors on September 14th, 11 am. Bayer Dormagen will play against VfB Homberg's A juniors on September 21st, 11 am, and Sportfreunde Baumberg will face VfB Homberg's A juniors on September 17th, 7 pm. SuS 09 Dinslaken will also take on VfB's C juniors on September 6th, 3 pm.

The new rule introduced in junior football from August 1st, replacing the five-minute time penalty against a repeatedly rule-breaking young player with yellow/red cards, is sure to add an extra layer of excitement to the games. The automatic suspension for the next match, which is usual for seniors, does not apply under the new rule.
