Alpincamper Launches Maxus eDeliver 5 Electric Camper in 2025

Alpincamper is set to launch the Maxus eDeliver 5 as a camping bus conversion in 2025, following the trend set by the VW ID. Buzz. The electric van offers a spacious interior design and a competitive price point.

The Maxus eDeliver 5 boasts an impressive 120 kW (163 hp) front axle electric motor, providing a range of 335 km WLTP with a 64 kWh battery. It is nine centimetres longer than the ID. Buzz, with the same height, offering more interior design space. Alpincamper equips the van with lightweight multiplex furniture, insulation, felt lining, and a small mushroom pop-up roof for added headroom.

The camping conversion includes a 190 cm long couch that extends to a narrow double bed, just under 115 cm wide. Fresh water ablutions are facilitated by a 50-liter fresh water tank and a connection for a rear shower, with the kitchen sink serving as an additional option. The van also features a standard second sliding door on the left-hand side, allowing for a pleasant breeze to flow through.

The Maxus eDeliver 5 comes well-equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and adaptive cruise control. It is priced at 64,999 euros, 5,000 euros less than the ID. Buzz. While other companies like Crosscamp offer similar conversions, such as the EXPLR 5.0 F (from €49,999 for the 2026 model), direct price comparisons are not clearly listed, and further market research is needed for a comprehensive overview.

The Alpincamper Maxus eDeliver 5 offers a spacious, well-equipped electric camper at a competitive price. With a range of 335 km WLTP and a comfortable interior design, it is a promising option for eco-conscious campers. The van's launch in 2025 will provide an alternative to the VW ID. Buzz, with similar features but at a lower cost.
