Supertalent's Return with a Twist! 🎯🌟

Remember Elena Turcan, the victorious soprano from the final Supertalent edition two years ago? Well, RTL's popular show is making a comeback! However, this time around, things won't be the same as before.

After a two-year hiatus, Supertalent will grace our screens and streaming platforms on RTL and RTL+. But wait, there's more! RTL has announced some exciting changes for the show's 16th season.

Firstly, the filming schedule has shifted, with recording sessions kicking off in December. This means the 16th season might not air until spring 2024. In the past, Supertalent usually aired towards the end of the year, leading straight up to Christmas, with the winner earning the title of a skilled team, individual, man, woman, or even a furry four-legged friend! 🐶

No more live finals

One significant change is the location shift for the show. Instead of performing in a theater, Supertalent will take place at MMC Studios in Cologne. Additionally, the live final will be replaced with a pre-recorded event. RTL attributes this change to technical production factors.

Audience participation will not decide the winner this time around. According to reports, the final will be taped on December 15.

The classic crew stays... with some fresh help

Despite the changes, there's a sense of continuity when it comes to the jury. Stalwarts of the show, Dieter Bohlen and Bruce Darnell, will continue to serve as judges for various performances, encompassing artistry, singing, and magic, among others.

In addition to their expertise, Ekaterina Leonova, a professional dancer from "Let's Dance," and Anna Ermakova, the champion of the same show, will offer female perspectives and support to Bahlen and Darnell.

So mark your calendars, folks! Supertalent returns with a fresh energy after a two-year hiatus, backed by a few tweaks in format and production. Stay tuned for the 16th season, now streamed on RTL and RTL+! 💥
