Almaty Installs Culvert on Ospanov Street for Stormwater Drainage
Almaty's Environmental and Green Infrastructure Department, along with TOO 'AlmatyDorStroy', are overseeing the installation of a culvert on Ospanov Street. This work is part of the city's stormwater drainage construction and renovation project in the eastern region. Traffic restrictions will be in place during the operation.
The culvert is being installed from the 'Edelweiss' residential complex to Zhamaev Street. The municipal construction and infrastructure department is responsible for this task. The installation will occur overnight, from 11:00 PM on October 2 to 6:00 AM on October 3, to minimise disruption during peak hours.
Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance, taking into account the temporary traffic restrictions. This work is part of the larger project to build and reconstruct the storm drainage system in the eastern part of the city, aiming to improve the city's irrigation network.
