Almaty & Astana Road Repairs in Full Swing, Temporarily Closing Streets
Road repairs are in full swing in Almaty and Astana, with several streets temporarily closed for maintenance. Residents eagerly await the completion of these projects.
In Almaty, work is underway on 69 streets of local and district significance, spanning a total length of 51 kilometers. This year alone, medium repairs have been completed on 15 main streets, covering 38 kilometers. The city aims to finish all road work by November 30, 2025.
Several streets in Almaty will be closed on September 30 due to a football match between 'Kairat' and 'Real'. Residents of central cities are interested in the completion of these road repair closures. Currently, Gertsena Street and Syganak Street in Astana are closed for repairs. All road work in Astana is expected to be completed by the end of October.
While road repairs continue in Almaty and Astana, some streets remain temporarily closed. Residents are looking forward to the completion of these projects, which will improve the cities' infrastructure.
