Immigrant-linked individual allegedly plans to attack Trump. - Alleged individual expresses support for migrant's purported plot to eliminate President Trump

Just two weeks ago, talks swirled about a migrant threatening to kill President Donald Trump. U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, announced the Department's arrest of a 54-year-old man living illegally in the U.S., Morales R. He was suspected of making such threats. The White House even shared a menacing letter and the alleged perpetrator's photo. But it wasn't long before doubts were cast.
It turned out that the accusations against Morales R. were unwarranted. Another arrest followed promptly, and the ministry had to admit its error. This time, they apprehended Demetric S., a man allegedly framing Morales R. in a plot to assassinate Trump. Seems he wanted to speed up Morales R.'s deportation.
Trump's Past Attempted Assassination
Demetric S., a resident of Wisconsin, is charged with writing letters in Morales R.'s name, threatening to kill Trump. According to court documents, he sent these letters to various authorities, including the Milwaukee Police Chief and the Attorney General. These letters, with varying wording, revolved around Trump's immigration policies and death threats against the president.
"Fancy a bomb exploding at the White House, with our dear president inside?" one letter read. Another threatened to shoot Trump during a speech, with references to the 9/11 attacks. Given these threats' severity, authorities took them seriously.
The Court's Apprehension
However, the letters seemed to be designed to harm Morales R. more than Trump. During interviews, it was clear that Morales R. could barely manage English and likely couldn't have written the letters. His handwriting didn't match either. When asked who might want to harm him, Morales R. pointed to Demetric S.
The two had a history. Scott is currently awaiting trial for a robbery and battery incident involving Morales R. in 2023. During his police interrogation, Scott admitted to sending the threatening letters with the intention of ensuring Morales R.'s deportation and preventing him from testifying against him in court. In addition to the original charges, Scott now faces charges of identity theft and witness intimidation.
