Suspected Serial Burglar Expands Criminal Reach
A 32-year-old suspect under custody for eight burglaries in Ansbach's district has an extended criminal portfolio, according to recent investigations. Authorities in Würzburg unveiled additional charges against the individual, implicating them in three separate crimes in their region.
Initially, the pair, with a 33-year-old accomplice, had racked up over 15,000 euros in thefts across Ansbach in April. With heightened vigilance, the police dispatched covert patrols. During an examination, they discovered incriminating tools in the suspects' possession, including a screwdriver that matched a crime scene trace. DNA evidence from other recaptured evidence matched the 32-year-old individual. Consequently, the suspect was detained in September.
Investigative efforts subsequently linked the 32-year-old to a completed burglary and two attempted break-ins in the Würzburg area. However, their criminal acts didn't end in Middle Franconia; compelling evidence suggests that they committed another three crimes in Central France's UNDERFRONT region. Despite being securely behind bars since September, the ongoing inquiries uncovered this additional involvement in crimes abroad.
