All tracks featured on the 'David Gilmour Live At The Circus Maximus, Rome' music album
David Gilmour fans are in for a treat as the artist announces the release of a live soundtrack album and a concert film. The album, titled 'The Luck And Strange Concerts', is set to be released on October 17, 2025, alongside the Blu-ray of the concert film.
The 'Luck And Strange Concerts' album is a soundtrack for the concert film, which is part of Gilmour's 'Luck And Strange' tour. The film was directed by Gavin Elder, who previously helmed David Gilmour: Live At Pompeii. The concert film spans the last three nights of Gilmour's six-night run at Rome's Circus Maximus last year and features 22 tracks.
The concert film includes Pink Floyd classics such as 'Sorrow', 'Time', and 'Comfortably Numb'. It also includes almost every song from Gilmour's latest solo album, 'Luck And Strange'. However, 'A Single Spark', a new track on the 'Luck And Strange Concerts' album, is not part of the concert film.
The 'Luck And Strange Concerts' album is not the live soundtrack album that was previously mentioned. Instead, it is a soundtrack for the concert film, containing live recordings of David Gilmour's solo material such as '5 A.M.', 'Black Cat', 'Luck and Strange', as well as the Pink Floyd classics performed at selected shows during his 2024-2025 tour. The album includes all the tracks from the concert film, plus one extra, 'A Single Spark'.
The 'Luck And Strange Concerts' album will be available in 23 tracks on 4 LPs or 2 CDs. It is important to note that David Gilmour performs with his daughter, Romany Gilmour, on the track 'Between Two Points' in the concert film.
The concert film is set to debut in cinemas on September 17, 2024. The live soundtrack album, 'The Luck And Strange Concerts', is also set to be released on October 17, 2025, alongside the Blu-ray of the concert film.
