Title: Anambra Governor Equitis With Tinubu as APGA's 2027 Presidential Candidate

ALL-PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APGA) ENDORSES TINUBU AS THEIR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE IN 2027 ELECTIONS

In a surprising turn of events, Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo has made a surprising announcement - APGA, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, has officially chosen President Bola Tinubu as their pick for the 2027 presidential election.

Made during the President's visit to the state on Thursday, Soludo declared, "Progressives are working together." Emphasizing the alliance between APGA and the All Progressives Congress (APC), he stated that both parties share a common belief in progressivism and will be working together.

The Governor, however, wasn't too pleased about previous administrations in Anambra. Speaking during the visit, he criticized the lack of Presidential visits to commission developmental projects for the Anambra people. As it stands, it's been thirteen years since a President visited the state, with the last visit in 2012, commemorating a brewery and another private project.

In contrast, Soludo proudly listed his administration's accomplishments, including hundreds of kilometers of roads, bridges, flyovers, new hospitals, smart schools, water projects, and more, all waiting for commissioning.

The scene was far from usual as the Governor took a dig at predecessors while commissioning projects implemented by his own administration. This historic visit marks a milestone in the state's development history.

The political landscape in Nigeria is shifting, with various parties positioning candidates or forming coalitions for the 2027 presidential election. In addition to APGA and APC's Bola Tinubu, notable parties include the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), Social Democratic Party (SDP), and the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP). Efforts are underway for opposition parties to form a united coalition to challenge APC’s dominance effectively[1][2][3][4][5].
