"Alien: Earth" Debuts with Blood-Curdling Xenomorph Murders, Spectacular Spaceship Wreckage, and Insidious Corporate Sabotage in One of FX's Top Series
In the vast expanse of space, two years before the original space horror movie, the stage is set for a thrilling new prequel series: "Alien: Earth". Streaming now on Hulu, this gripping tale takes us on a journey through the unknown, introducing a diverse cast of characters, including the enigmatic Morrow.
Played by Babou Ceesay, Morrow is a cyborg working for the megacorporation Weyland-Yutani, tasked with bringing an alien cargo to Earth. However, Morrow's intentions are not as clear as they seem, as the series follows his sabotage of the ship carrying the extraterrestrial cargo.
The Prodigy research center on Earth is run by young trillionaire Boy Kavalier (Samuel Blenkin), CEO of Prodigy, one of the four companies controlling Earth and the rest of the solar system's planets. Boy Kavalier has made a groundbreaking scientific breakthrough by transferring the consciousness of a dying girl into a synthetic body, resulting in Wendy (Sydney Chandler), the first human-synth hybrid.
The series introduces another intriguing character, One of the Lost Boys, Hermit (Alex Lawther), a medic who doesn't know his sister is still alive or in a synth body. He is sent to the Maginot crash site to look for survivors, but his encounters with the Xenomorph prove to be harrowing. In a twist, Morrow intentionally crashes the ship into Earth and survives, while Hermit narrowly escapes two encounters with the Xenomorph, only to be abducted by the creature at the end of Episode 2.
Wendy, with her near-superhuman strength and childlike innocence, leads her synth group to Hermit's location on the ship, using her unique ability to magically control computer screens. The series continues to explore questions about who Morrow is working for, who will take ownership of the aliens, and who will survive the crash site.
"Alien: Earth" is more than just a prequel; it's a fresh take on the iconic franchise, offering a blend of suspense, action, and intrigue. Don't miss out on this thrilling new series available to stream on Hulu.
