Vincent Furnier, the iconic singer of Alice Cooper, has reunited with the original Alice Cooper band to release a new album titled The Revenge of Alice Cooper. This long-awaited collaboration, their first studio effort since 1973's Muscle of Love, came out on July 25, 2025.

The album, which comprises 14 tracks plus two bonus tracks, has been well received, hailed as a successor to their classic 1970s records like School's Out and Billion Dollar Babies. The record was produced by longtime collaborator Bob Ezrin and was released via earMUSIC.

Robby Krieger, the legendary guitarist of The Doors, contributes to the album, playing on the opening track "Black Mamba," adding a harder rock edge with his guitar work. The original surviving members involved are Vincent Furnier (Alice Cooper, vocals), Michael Bruce (guitar), Dennis Dunaway (bass), and Neal Smith (drums). They were joined by guitarists Gyasi Heus and Rick Tedesco to fill the role left vacant by original guitarist Glen Buxton, who passed away in 1997. Some of Buxton's unreleased guitar recordings appear on the track "What Happened to You."

The album's theme seems to be a response to the Trump era, offering laughter-inducing horror. The record has been praised for its blend of old-school hard rock sounds and the band's original energy and style after over 50 years.

The album tour is themed around zombies, and the album's cover art features Cooper preparing guillotine and decapitation dolls. The album is available on various platforms, including Télé-Quebec, Crave, ICI RDI, and Disney+.

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch, and violent thunderstorms are expected to hit starting tonight, which could produce heavy rain and wind gusts. The release of the new Alice Cooper album coincides with the global media recall of Ozzy Osbourne biting a bat.

Unfortunately, the news of the album's release is overshadowed by the passing of magazine editor Isabelle Vaillancourt and the general director of Publications BLD. Our thoughts are with their families and loved ones during this difficult time.
