The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship 2025 is set to tee off in Scotland, offering a unique golfing experience across three legendary courses. While the identities of celebrity amateurs remain under wraps, some professional and sports star participants have been revealed.

The championship will rotate through the Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie, and Kingsbarns. It's known for attracting a mix of professional golfers and celebrities from various fields, although specific non-professional names for 2025 are yet to be disclosed.

Among the confirmed professionals are several Ryder Cup team members. Tyrrell Hatton, Tommy Fleetwood, Robert MacIntyre, and Matt Fitzpatrick will all compete. Hatton, the defending champion, will be paired with his father, Jeff, for the team event.

In the sports celebrity category, hockey legend Wayne Gretzky is set to participate, paired with LIV Golfer Dustin Johnson. Former tennis star Andy Murray will also compete, teaming up with Jordan Smith.

The event features both strokeplay and team events, with each professional paired with an amateur. The team score is the lower of the professional's and his amateur partner's net score at each hole. After three rounds, a cut will affect both competitions.

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship 2025 promises an exciting blend of professional golf and celebrity participation across three historic Scottish courses. With Hatton defending his title and sports legends like Gretzky and Murray joining, the event is shaping up to be a thrilling spectacle.
