Alexander Khmelevski Joins 'Ak Bars' After 'Salavat Yulaev' Trade
Alexander Khmelevski, a prominent hockey player, is leaving 'Salavat Yulaev' to join 'Ak Bars'. The move comes after 'Salavat Yulaev' decided to trade him, despite 'Avangard' offering a higher salary.
Khmelevski's transfer was influenced by financial factors. 'Ak Bars' presented a more lucrative offer, according to hockey expert Nikita Filatov. This swayed Khmelevski's decision, as he had previously turned down a higher salary from 'Avangard' to stay with his home club Lada Togliatti in 2025.
