Alex Cooper's Unwell Debuts Winter Games with 16 Polarizing Stars in Utah
Unwell, the media company founded by Alex Cooper, is launching its first competition series, Unwell Winter Games. The show brings together 16 polarising pop culture figures for a mix of mental and physical challenges. Filmed in a luxury chalet in Park City, Utah, the series will debut in four parts on YouTube.
The event took place over four days in Summit County, Utah, after the state offered a tax incentive for production. Cooper serves as an executive producer alongside Matt Kaplan. YouTuber Adam W hosts the series, with commentary from Graydon Cutler and Grace O'Malley.
Among the participants are Dakota Mortensen, who has faced recent controversy with his partner Taylor Frankie Paul, and Demi Engemann, known for her role in *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives* (though she will not return for Season 4). The full lineup also includes Anna Delvey, Hallie Batchelder, Alissa Violet, Andrew Vetter, Cameron Jerrard, Dylan Kevitch, Ekin Su Cülcüoğlu, Eyal Booker, Gleb Savchenko, Hannah Stocking, Huda Mustafa, Joe Amabile, Juliette Porter, Louis Russell, Niko Emanuilidis, Saraya Bevis, and Serena Pitt. The challenges blend physical and psychological tests, designed to push contestants outside their comfort zones. Filming took place in a high-end chalet, adding a layer of luxury to the competitive atmosphere.
The Unwell Winter Games will roll out in four episodes on YouTube. The series marks Unwell's first foray into competition programming, featuring a mix of reality TV personalities and online influencers. Viewers can expect clashes, alliances, and high-stakes challenges when the show premieres.
