In the midst of January 2025, during her stint on "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!", Alessia expressed her unexpected desire to work in a supermarket. And now, her dream is coming to fruition in the very heart of Cologne, as she joins the team at a local Rewe branch.
The Jungle Princess Moves to the Aisle
Beginning on May 12, 2025, you can catch Alessia Herren in action on RTLzwei, as the docu-soap hits your screens. The series has been in the works since October 2024, following the daily goings-on at a Rewe store in Alessia's hometown.
On the show's official website, RTL.de, Alessia dons her new supermarket uniform, a mandatory shirt and waistcoat. "Forget about what to wear every day," she says, grinning from ear to ear. Of course, she'll still need to make sure her fresh underwear is on point!
The Power of a Single Word
Alessia admitted that "I was so happy about what one word can do in a format." At the time, she'd even joked about working at Aldi, viewing the chain as a solid choice. But she now gets to "dip her toes" in the retail sector, working at Rewe instead.
