Heat Wave and Potential Storms Forecasted in Krasnodar Region

Residents of the Krasnodar region are bracing for a heat wave and potential severe weather conditions from August 2nd to August 4th. According to meteorologists, daytime temperatures will range from about 31 to 36 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures will be between 21 and 25 degrees Celsius.

On August 2nd, the temperature in the Krasnodar region is expected to reach a high of +36°C during the day, with the regional capital experiencing temperatures of +29...31°C. Nighttime temperatures in the regional capital will be +20...22°C.

While no critical weather emergencies or extreme wind events are indicated for August 2-4, the heat can be intense, particularly for sensitive individuals. Health officials recommend that people with cardiovascular diseases avoid prolonged stays outdoors in the daytime.

Unfortunately, the weather forecast also includes the risk of heavy rain, thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds with gusts up to 20-25 m/s. "Kuban 24" reports that heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected on August 2nd in the Krasnodar region.

There is a particular risk of waterspouts forming over the sea from Anapa to Magri. Winds are generally light to moderate, around 8 mph (approximately 13 km/h) coming from the south in Krasnodar city on the evening of August 2nd.
