Alcohol sales banned on City Day celebration

In the bustling city of Yekaterinburg, residents and visitors will experience a temporary change in the usual routine as the city has announced alcohol sales restrictions in certain areas during specific periods.

From August 13 to 16, alcohol sales will be prohibited on Kirova Street, from Vikulova to Zavodskaya, between 8:00 and 19:00. On August 15, the ban will extend to the area bounded by Malysheva, 8th March, Lenin Prospect, and Pushkin Street, from 16:00 to 22:00.

On August 16, the restrictions will apply to territories within the borders of Svetlorechenskaya - Obyezdnaya Road - Metallurgov - Vikulova - Repina, as well as in Bazovy Pereulok, from Yamova to Mashinnaya, and within the borders of Vostochnaya - Bolshakova - Lunacharskogo - Tkachey - Furmanova - Belinskogo - Bazovy Pereulok (up to house No. 47). The ban will be in effect from 8:00 to 23:00.

On August 17, no alcohol sales will be permitted within the perimeter of Moskovskaya - Malysheva - Karl Liebknecht - Nikolai Nikhonova - Krasny Pereulok - Chelyuskintsev Street. The ban will be in place from 8:00 to 23:00.

Finally, on August 23, alcohol sales will be prohibited in the territory of Mayakovsky Park, in Bazovy Pereulok, from Yamova Street to Mashinnaya Street, on Tkachey Street, as well as within the borders of Vostochnaya - Bolshakova - Lunacharskogo - Tkachey, from 10:00 to 23:00.

It is important to note that these restrictions are in place at locations where cultural and sporting events are taking place. The city administration is confident that these measures will not hinder residents from having a good time.
