Reneé Rapp Announces Global Tour for Sophomore Album 'Bite Me'

Actress-turned-singer Reneé Rapp is set to embark on a major tour in support of her new album, Bite Me. The tour will span multiple cities across North America and Europe, starting September 23, 2023, and wrapping up in March 2024.

Rapp, who gained recognition for her breakout performance in the Mean Girls musical film adaptation and her stint on the television show The Sex Lives of College Girls, released her sophomore LP on August 1, 2025. The album, which explores themes of mental health, fame, dealing with haters, and self-acceptance, has been well-received by critics and fans alike.

Bite Me is a rock album, featuring production by notable producers such as Omer Fedi, Emile Haynie, and Ryan Tedder. The album includes singles like "Leave Me Alone," "Mad," and "Why Is She Still Here?".

Rapp shared her concerns about being misunderstood due to her passionate and sensitive nature, but she sought her own approval and tried to cultivate her own environment while making Bite Me. She also took more care and was more cognizant of her time spent on the album, having learned from juggling long days filming Mean Girls during the recording of her debut studio album, Snow Angel, in 2023.

For inspiration, Rapp looked to musical icons like Alanis Morissette and Joan Jett. The album's themes of mental health and self-acceptance are reflected in its lyrics, which encourage listeners to embrace all facets of their personality, including the chaotic and confident, promoting unapologetic authenticity and vulnerability.

Fans of Reneé Rapp can expect a dynamic and powerful performance on the Bite Me Tour, as she showcases her new album live in various cities. The tour will kick off in Denver and conclude in London, with stops in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Paris along the way.

With her unique sound and powerful message, Reneé Rapp is poised to make a significant impact on the music industry with Bite Me and the Bite Me Tour.
