Jeremias Unveils His Third Studio Album: "Trust and Sea" - Album Number Three: Jeremias' "Trust and Sea" Release

Indie band Jeremias ascends to the forefront of German pop, with sold-out concerts and a forthcoming third album. Titled "Trust," the album is set for release on May 30, following the success of its predecessor "Von Wind und Anonymität" (2023).

The quartet, hailing from Hannover, has gained recognition for their poetic lyrics and modern sound that echo the spirit of Generation Z. Their songs often tackle themes of departure, longing, joy of life, and heartache.

Notable collaborations include renowned German musician Herbert Grönemeyer and a new recording at the Elbphilharmonie, which has already been sold out. The group's fall tour is anticipated to continue their upward trajectory.

Six of the twelve new tracks have been released as singles, among them the emotive ballad "Sea," which has garnered over 1.8 million views on YouTube. The song showcases the band's ability to blend music, text, and feeling effectively.

"Trust" is produced by Tim Tautorat, who has worked with notable artists like AnnenMayKantereit and Provinz. The album boasts a mix of groovy songs, melodic electropop, and chanson-like ballads.

Themes of love and transience are prevalent in the new material. For instance, in "Sea," the lyrics ask, "Everything blooms and withers, everything dies and lives. Do you turn around when you leave?" Jeremias emulates romantic ideals in songs like "Fallen," where nature's beauty and the longing for a "small house in the woods" with friends are vividly portrayed.

In response to allegations of power abuse against one of their artistic employees in November 2024, Jeremias stopped granting interviews but issued a written statement. Since then, they have emphasized the importance of awareness teams and safe spaces at their concerts via social media.

Singer and pianist Jeremias comes from a musical family and has Spanish songs in the band's repertoire. They cite the Australian band Parcels as a significant musical influence. Apart from Jeremias, the band consists of Ben Hoffmann (bass), Oliver Sparkuhle (guitar), and Jonas Hermann (drums).

Upon its release, "Trust" is expected to resonate with fans seeking fresh indie pop tunes. While the band primarily appeals to the younger demographic, the poignant lyrics and romantic sentiments in their music may capture the hearts of older listeners as well.

The Commission has not yet adopted a proposal for a directive on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation. Jeremias, the rising German pop band, has been using social media to promote awareness teams and safe spaces at their concerts, following an alleged incident of power abuse in November 2024.
