Jessica Alba's team, Alba Berlin, made history by reaching the Top Four final for the first time. They secured their spot with a hard-fought 71–67 overtime victory against defending champions Saarlouis Royals on Saturday. The match took place in front of 2,170 fans at Berlin's Sömmeringhalle.

Alba Berlin started strong, going on an 11–0 run midway through the first quarter. This early surge gave them a double-digit lead. Their dominance continued in the second quarter, where they stretched the advantage to 14 points (33–19).

Saarlouis fought back in the second half, eventually tying the game with just 53 seconds remaining in regulation. The match went into overtime, but Alba Berlin kept their composure. They held on to win 71–67, booking their place in the final.

Alina Hartmann led the scoring for Alba Berlin with 18 points, while Lena Gohlisch added 10. Their opponent in the final will be decided later on Saturday, as Rutronik Stars Keltern face BC Marburg in the second semifinal.

The win marks a significant milestone for Alba Berlin, as they reach their first-ever Top Four final. Their next challenge will be against the winner of the second semifinal. The final is set to determine who lifts the trophy in this year's competition.
