Deportivo Alavés and Sevilla FC are set to face off in the 5th round of LaLiga EA Sports this Saturday at Mendizorroza Stadium. Both teams have had varying fortunes so far this season.

Deportivo Alavés, coached by Eduardo Germán Coudet, has established themselves in the top zone of the Championship. The Basque club has only conceded 3 goals in 4 games this season and has accumulated 7 points, having lost just one game. The squad, which includes players like Sivera, Raúl Fernández, Johnny Otto, García, Parada, Tenaglia, Diarra, Guevara, Blanco, Ibañez, Calebe, Rebbach, Pacheco, Denis Suárez, Youssef, Protesoni, Pinillos, Egoitz, Guridi, Aleña, Carlos Vicente, Toni Martínez, Mariano, and Lucas Boyé, will be boosted by the return of Akor Adams and Ejuke from injury.

Sevilla FC, on the other hand, has had a more challenging start to the season. Despite a win against Girona (0-2), they have suffered losses at San Mamés (3-2), a home loss to Getafe (1-2), and a draw with Elche last week (2-2). The Andalusian club, coached by Chacho Coudet, will be without Joan Jordán due to injury. The potential debut for Vlachodimos in goal could be a key factor for Sevilla, as they aim to break their 50-game streak without winning two games in a row.

The list of players traveling to Alavés includes Nyland, Odysseas, Alberto Flores, Carmona, Juanlu, Marcao, Nianzou, Kike Salas, Cardoso, Castrín, Suazo, Azpilicueta, Gudelj, Agoumé, Mendy, Sow, Januzaj, Vargas, Ejuke, Peque, Alfon, Alexis, Isaac, and Akor.

The match promises to be an exciting encounter between two teams with different trajectories this season. Deportivo Alavés, with their solid defence and disciplined play, will look to maintain their impressive start, while Sevilla FC, with their attacking prowess, will aim to find the winning formula to break their recent losing streak.
