The Polish-Belarusian border remains closed, as confirmed by the Polish authorities, following the closure on the eve of the "Zapad-2025" exercises on September 12. The decision to keep the border shut is due to ongoing concerns about security threats and migrant flows.

During a conference in Lublin, Poland, the Minister of Interior and Administration, Marcin Kierwiński, reiterated that the border will only be reopened when there is full confidence in the absence of threats and provocations against Poland.

The Border Guard has reported increased drone activity near the border, with tonight's observation showing heightened activity of Belarusian and Russian drones attempting to cross Polish airspace.

The tense situation on the border is a cause for concern, with Kierwiński stating that it remains very tense. The Polish government is demanding that Belarusian President Lukashenko stop hybrid attacks and release political prisoners, in addition to ensuring the safety at the Polish-Belarusian border before any consideration of reopening it.

The closure of the border has had a significant impact, blocking an overland corridor for Chinese goods to Europe. However, no new information about the reopening of the border, the statements made by Kierwiński, or the drone activity was provided.

Poland is maintaining strict border controls and monitoring, requiring the involvement of its Interior Ministry and border security services to manage the situation effectively. The Polish government's stance remains firm, with Kierwiński stating that if the services provide information that the situation becomes safe, then the border will be opened.
