Airports Should Avoid Carrying Harmful Items

Last night at Airport Erfurt-Weimar, a 34-year-old German woman was temporarily prevented from boarding her flight to Hurghada. The incident occurred when air security assistants discovered an animal repellent spray, commonly known as pepper spray, in her hand luggage.

The federal police officers were called for assistance, and upon further investigation, it was confirmed that the initial suspicion from the technical screening was accurate. The violation related to the pepper spray had to be enforced.
