Air travel on government aircraft above Dresden: Was the passenger count substantial?
A government aircraft, identified by the call sign "GAF611", embarked on a training exercise from Baden-Württemberg on Tuesday afternoon. The flight, organized by the Air Traffic Office of the German Armed Forces, was part of a further education programme. The aircraft, a GLOBAL 6000 of the Flying Detachment, followed a flight path from the Southwest to the East, making stops at several airports along the way. The itinerary included Leipzig, Hannover, Stuttgart, and Dresden, with the destination being the Saxon state capital.
The Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann, and members of his delegation were on board the aircraft during the journey. However, no high-profile visitor was present. The pilots carried out all maneuvers in accordance with air traffic regulations, and landing exercises were conducted without stopping during the flight.
Upon reaching Dresden, the aircraft returned to the base of the Federal Ministry of Defense near the cathedral city. The training exercise concluded, and the aircraft resumed its normal duties.
Meanwhile, in Dresden, some parking spaces will be closed due to the training exercise. Elsewhere, Tapas Delight at the Blue Wonder! is preparing to expand its services, as it will soon also serve dinner.
In other news, the police are recruiting more personnel, with job applications currently being accepted. This move is aimed at strengthening the force and ensuring continued service excellence.
