Airbnb Joint Base Andrews Air Show Returns for a Spectacular Weekend
The Airbnb Joint Base Andrews Air Show is set to make a thrilling return to the Washington, D.C. region on September 13-14, 2025. This year's event promises to be an exciting celebration of airpower, showcasing the current U.S. military aviation capabilities.
The action-packed weekend will take place at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, with free public parking available both days. For those who prefer to travel by bus, services from Northwest Stadium to Joint Base Andrews will be provided from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day, with the last return bus departing at 5 p.m.
Visitors can look forward to an array of military and civilian aerial demonstrations, static displays, and exhibits. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, renowned for their precision and power, are scheduled to perform, with six aircraft flying in formation and a seventh capturing stunning photographs.
However, it's important to note that certain road closures will be in effect during the air show. The Suitland Parkway will be temporarily closed during specific performances, including from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on September 11, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on September 12, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on September 13, and from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on September 14.
Residents near Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, may experience increased traffic and road closures during the air show. Parking at Joint Base Andrews is only open to DoD cardholders; public parking is only available at Northwest Stadium.
