Head over heels for the APC? Obi's crew might be making a switch, claims Tinubu's media advisor

Aides of Peter Obi are reportedly in discussions regarding a potential switch to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as suggested by the presidency.

In an eyebrow-raising revelation, Daniel Bwala, Media and Policy Communications Advisor to President Bola Tinubu, has spilled the Beans about potential switches from Peter Obi's Labour Party (LP) camp to their very own All Progressives Congress (APC).

Bwala boldly stated that one of Obi's handlers is already tucked securely within the APC, while the second one is in a heated conversation with party leaders. To add fuel to the fire, one of Obi's media aides is reportedly in talks to join the party too.

The catty comments came during a chat with TVC, where Bwala answered a question on why these key players from the 2023 election are joining forces with the APC. In his words, "Governors are on their own coming into our party. What about the key managers of specific presidential candidates? Take, for example, Peter Obi, one of his handlers is with us. The second handler is in talks with us. One of his media spokesmen is in talks with us."

He went on to add that the movement isn't motivated by money but rather their understanding that "we are not perfect as a government, but our hearts are right, our head is correct, and we are creating a national consensus."

Meanwhile, we've heard that Bwala has a bone to pick with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. In true Bwala style, he urged Atiku to give up on the idea of becoming Nigeria's President because, according to him, it's just not in the cards.

During another TVC interview, Bwala implied that God's plan doesn't seem to include Atiku as the country's leader and suggested that he should instead contribute his ideas to Tinubu for implementation, ensuring that his legacy includes doing something good for Nigeria.

However, if Atiku insists on running, Bwala warned that it might not end well for his political career, as many of his supporters have already moved on.

According to our site, Bwala further hinted that Atiku may no longer be the ideal candidate for the presidency as Nigerians are looking for a younger candidate. He pointed out that the younger generation feels it's their turn, and they're not backing down anytime soon.
