The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has stepped up its humanitarian efforts for the people of Gaza Strip, delivering critical relief through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. This ongoing mission, which began in response to the region's humanitarian crisis, has seen extensive collaboration with international and regional partners.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has so far completed 72 airdrops under the banner "Operation Birds of Goodness," delivering over 3,972 tonnes of essential aid. The majority of these supplies are food items, prepared by UAE charitable institutions to help Gaza residents cope with the challenging humanitarian situation.
In addition to food aid, medical shipments have been delivered as part of this initiative. The UAE, working closely with the World Health Organization (WHO), has supplied medicines and medical equipment to Gaza's health sector to address acute shortages and prevent the collapse of healthcare services. Hospitals like the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis have received truckloads of critical pharmaceuticals and supplies to support emergency care and urgent medical needs.
UAE officials emphasize the operation’s role in reinforcing resilience in Gaza, delivering "lifeline" aid essential to saving the lives of patients and wounded individuals. The aid deliveries are part of a sustained series scheduled to continue, reflecting the UAE’s steady commitment to humanitarian relief and international cooperation.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 adopts a multilateral approach, engaging several countries and institutions to maximize impact and ensure distribution of life-saving aid in a critical conflict zone. The UAE's humanitarian aid team in Al Arish continues to oversee the loading, monitoring, and delivery of aid through the Rafah Crossing, ensuring swift and efficient distribution of assistance to the Palestinian people.
Over the past two weeks, ten convoys of humanitarian aid have been sent to the Gaza Strip. The team's commitment to following up on all field details ensures that the aid reaches its intended beneficiaries. The UAE stands steadfastly alongside its brothers in the Gaza Strip, aiming to alleviate the humanitarian situation and ease the suffering of vulnerable groups.
