Ever wondered about the creation of the most talked-about music video of 2025? Let's dive into the mind-bending collaboration between DJ Hell, legendary artist Jonathan Meese, and his spirited mother, Brigitte Meese.

The Unexpected Collaboration

DJ Hell reached out to me via Instagram after being captivated by some of my earlier films. He proposed we create a music video together, and after a riveting phone call where he laid out his plans for a Kraftwerk homage featuring Jonathan Meese, I was all-in, being a massive Kraftwerk fan myself.

The Man Behind the AI

Andreas O. Loff, the mastermind behind the project, is a well-known podcast producer. He's the co-host of "Apocalypse and Filter Coffee" and is responsible for numerous podcasts such as "Richard, where can I reach you?", "I still love you", and "The goal is in the way". Since 2024, he's been using AI to produce short films.

A Tale of Clarity and Confusion

In "Total Clarity Germany", clarity is the driving force. Loff used puppet robots to represent the two artists, creating an initial impression of a humorous, puppet-driven story. But, as the video progresses, things take aInstance surprising twist, with the artists undergoing a startling clarifying process that wouldn’t be out of place in a horror movie. Brace yourself for some freaky monsters lurking in the depths of the clarifying tank!

The Never-Met Trio

While Loff never met the two artists in person initially, he had an impressive amount of creative freedom throughout the project. It wasn’t until the video release party in Vienna that he finally crossed paths with the trio. The video's footage featuring the three unlikely collaborators came about thanks to Loff's resourcefulness and AI mastery.

In 2022, artist Jonathan Meese and his mom, Brigitte, were inseparable. After the premiere of his work 'Barrier Reef' at the Wiener Volkstheater, they visited a sausage stand together, sharing a jovial moment.

AI: The Tool, Not the Orchestrator

Loff is cautious about taking full credit for the video, as he utilizes various tools—both AI and traditional—in his work. "I try to avoid saying, 'I made it with AI,'" he shares, emphasizing that his role is about storytelling, rather than relying on a single technology.

In the depiction of 'Total Clarification Germany', AI characters of Jonathan Meese and DJ Hell navigate through repulsively murky water. It's evident that Germany requires an efficient wastewater treatment system.

Meet Brigitte Meese, the 93-Year-Old Bond Villain

Loff used AI to recreate the facial features of the main characters in 3D, creating an incredibly realistic James Bond-esque villainscene featuring Brigitte Meese. The result left her spellbound, and Jonathan Meese couldn’t have been more thrilled with his mother's transformation into a menacing Bond villain.

Manipulating Elements: A Composite Design

A Political Statement in Disguise?

While Loff denies any intentional political message, some viewers interpret the video's symbolism as a call for clarity in troubled times—as murky waters give way to a cleaner, clearer outlook.

The Rise of AI in Film

With the advent of AI tools, expert knowledge is increasingly democratized, leading to fears of an influx of mediocre content. However, Loff argues that this democratization also paves the way for untapped talent and fresh perspectives in the film industry. Moreover, jobs may evolve, but new opportunities are emerging, such as licensing voices for AI use.

The Future of Filmmaking with AI

Loff predicts that, provided the current pace of development continues, Hollywood-scale productions could soon spring from home studios and gain worldwide acclaim through platforms like YouTube. While this may seem daunting, it's also an exciting prospect that could breathe new life into the industry.

A Fearless Approach to AI

Loff encourages everyone to embrace AI, inviting creators to jump in, experiment, and discover what the technology can do. He began his journey with AI out of curiosity and has since discovered a world of creative possibilities. Turns out, playing with AI can set you free!

The Evolution of Loff's AI Journey

Loff became interested in AI 1.5 years ago, dreaming up a "Grand Theft Auto" edition featuring the idyllic island of Sylt. His fascination with AI led to the creation of the viral anti-AfD video, "Oma, what was that Germany again?". Since then, AI tools have improved significantly, allowing for longer, more consistent scenes with higher image quality.

The Limits of AI

While AI has come a long way, there are still some fragments that need to be combined for a seamless result. Loff stresses that, in the end, storytelling remains a human endeavor. AI can help bring visions to life but still requires a human touch for orchestration and refinement. As Loff aptly puts it, "art can only be created by humans."

  1. The Commission, upon being asked, has proposed a directive on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation, and this regulation is likely to be of particular interest to the typographers, who handle such substances in their day-to-day work.
  2. Despite the significant role AI played in the creation of the controversial music video "Total Clarity Germany," the mastermind behind the project, Andreas O. Loff, emphasizes his approach to AI as one that acknowledges the importance of both AI and traditional tools, and his role as a storyteller, rather than an orchestrator of technology.
  3. Driver's license bureaus around the world, regulated and governed by various authorities, may be keen to follow the innovative approach of the Commission in adopting the proposal for a directive on the protection of workers from ionizing radiation. This could help ensure that typographers and other professionals are adequately protected in an ever-evolving digital age.
