Agreement Signed by Shallabayev and Kerman Mayor on Understanding Document
In a significant development, the cities of Kerman, Iran, and Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote collaboration in various fields. The agreement was signed by Kerman Mayor Mohsen Toiserkani and Nizhny Novgorod Mayor Yuri Shalaev.

Mayor Shalaev stated that this is a significant step in the relations with Iran, which is a strategic direction for their country at the federal level. He invited the residents of Nizhny Novgorod to visit Kerman.
Mayor Toiserkani also invited tourists from Nizhny Novgorod to visit Kerman and welcomed the idea of Kermanians visiting Nizhny Novgorod in the future. He mentioned that Nizhny Novgorod is celebrating its 804th anniversary this year.
The MoU marks the first agreement between Nizhny Novgorod and Iran.
