Agrani Bank's 100-Day Plan: Tk 12.95 Crore in Loan Recovery
Agrani Bank recently held a zoom meeting in Rangpur to assess the progress of its 100-day special action plan. The event was chaired by Sudhir Ranjan Biswas, the general manager of Rangpur Circle, and attended by high-ranking officials, including managing director Md Anwarul Islam. The meeting discussed the successful implementation of the 100-day plan, which saw the recovery of Tk 12.95 crore in classified loans from 164 customers across 68 branches. The plan also involved reducing expected credit losses, distributing CMSME loans, collecting deposits, and remittances. The general manager of Rangpur Circle, Swapan Kumar Dhar, played a crucial role in overseeing these efforts. In addition to the main zoom meeting, a view exchange session and a Meet-the-Borrower programme were held with regional and branch heads. These events provided an opportunity for direct interaction and feedback. The meeting concluded with a positive assessment of the 100-day special action plan's progress.
