The apartment of Alma and Frederik in After the Hunt was carefully crafted to reflect their family’s legacy and elite tastes. Originally described as a brownstone, the apartment shifted to a horizontal layout inspired by New York’s Upper West and Upper East Side residences. Baisi looked to iconic buildings like the Langham and the Dakota for architectural cues.
The design carries three distinct layers of history. The grandparents’ influence appears in European and Bauhaus elements. The parents’ era is mirrored in Kennedy-style interiors, reminiscent of Jacqueline Kennedy’s refined aesthetic.
