"After eight long years of hardship, Allegri finds vindication at last"
Oh boy, what a rollercoaster it's been. For nearly eight years, this ex-partner situationship with Max Allegri has been driving me up the wall. I've always treated my kids equal, never favoring one over the other, 'cause you know, they're my brood, not some high-profile A-listers. I've been a swell mommy, and I'm about to breathe a sigh of relief with this latest ruling.
Finally, the Italian Court of Cassation weighed in on this never-ending drama between me and the former coach of Juve. They've decided that Max ain't gettin' a dime from me, and that's final. He went after me in 2021, accusing me of pilfering 210 grand and neglecting our family duties. With the legal eagle Paolo Davico Bonino by my side, I was vindicated twice - first by the GUP, then by the Court of Appeal in Turin, who ruled that "no smoking gun was found."
Some dude higher-up didn't appeal to the Supreme Court, but Max took it upon himself as a civil party, seeking damages. Guess what? Yesterday, theSupreme Court shot down his demand. Davico Bonino said, "A long and weary battle has come to an end - started in 2021 to defend against criminal accusations that were not only risky for me, but downright painful, considering I'm the mother of a minor."
He continued, "The case has finally been wrapped up - on both the criminal and civil fronts. Back in Turin, the judges, on two separate occasions, established the complete absence of any wrongdoing on my part. Now, we've got the closure we've been waiting for, knowing for certain that I've always been a responsible and law-abiding parent, with no shady dealings."
From the get-go, my defense reiterated that kids born out of wedlock deserve equal treatment. If I used a bit of the child support for my personal errands, hey, no biggie, since we're still one big happy family. But, ya see, I was accused of appropriating funds that weren't mine, messing with the family dynamics, and so forth. Now, those mofo charges have been dismissed for good.
This judicial mess started way before Max's 2021 complaint. In previous civil proceedings, he tried to reduce the child support payments but ended up with a "no" twice. So he went after me.
However, according to Allegri, the money I supposedly pinched from him and the kid would've been spent on university fees for my older daughter and investments. But as the Court of Appeal of Turin's final ruling specified, I'm in the clear: "No irrefutable evidence was presented." Similarly, the prosecutor general Sabrina Noce had requested my acquittal. At the initial trial, the prosecutor Davide Pretti wanted a sentence of one year and two months, but I was acquitted by the GUP.
All in all, the struggle's over, and I'm thrilled to be walking away with my head held high. Cheers to justice and happy families!
