Rudy Giuliani, the defeated ex-New York mayor, is still causing a stir despite facing a hefty 148-million-dollar verdict for defaming two Georgia election workers. Ruby Freeman and her daughter Shaye Moss, who suffered immense backlash for their roles in the 2020 presidential election, have now filed an injunction against Giuliani, seeking a halt to his scandalous slander.

Giuliani, once a loyal ally of ex-President Donald Trump, spread lies about the pair, falsely claiming that they had tampered with ballots and manipulated votes. This Harvey-like accusation led to a wave of threats and vitriol from Trump supporters, causing great distress to the women, who are both Black.

In a twisted turn of events, the jury found Giuliani guilty of the very defamatory actions he had accused these women of committing. As a result, Giuliani is now ordered to compensate the Freeman-Moss duo an astounding 37 million dollars each, with an additional 75 million in penalties. Yet, Giuliani remains unrepentant, standing by his defamatory statements and indicating that he has no intentions of ceasing his malicious rhetoric.

Insights: Despite the judge's order to hand over his assets, Giuliani's financial problems persist. He soon filed for bankruptcy with enormous debts, including outstanding liabilities related to the defamation case. Meanwhile, amidst the ongoing legal turmoil, Giuliani has also been held in contempt of court for failing to cooperate with asset surrender.

The scene remains a tangled web of unrepentant slander, hefty damages, and contentious asset disputes.
